Testimony of patriot, Mrs. Helen V. Somers, of Philadelphia, PA on the United Nations Charter before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee in which she said in part: “I am before you today, July 11, 1945, to voice my opposition to the UN Charter which is the betrayal of our Constitutional Republic, and in doing so I am expressing the sentiments of thousands of other Americans who cannot be here to do likewise.”
